The Himalayan birch 'Doorenbos' (Betula utilis) is a broad, egg-shaped tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers. They appear in May. These produce light brown fruits. The Himalayan birch 'Doorenbos' also has heart-shaped, medium green leaves. Its bark is white, rolling. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 m and is approx. 7 m wide. The Himalayan birch 'Doorenbos' makes no special demands on the soil.
