The Nootka cypress 'Glauca' (Chamaecyparis nootkatensis) is a tree that grows upright, semi-hanging, conical and usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and a width of around 6 metres. Its scale-like leaves are blue-green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
