The Sour cherry 'Schattenmorelle' (Prunus cerasus) produces black-red, medium-sized, juicy fruits. They have a tart flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from the end of July. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. The Sour cherry 'Schattenmorelle' grows upright to around 4 metres high and 3.5 metres wide.
