The Sour cherry 'Ludwigs Frühe' (Prunus cerasus) produces red fruits. They have a sweet and sour flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from July. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright growth, the Sour cherry 'Ludwigs Frühe' grows to around 2.5 m high and 2.3 m wide.

The deciduous leaves of Sour cherry 'Ludwigs Frühe' are medium green, egg-shaped. Sour cherry 'Ludwigs Frühe' turns bright yellow in autumn.
