Lonicera nitida 'Elegant'

Wilson's honeysuckle 'Elegant' is an upright and spreading small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 1 - 1.5 m wide. Rapidly growing. It usually grows 10 - 15 cm per year.

The evergreen leaves of the Wilson's honeysuckle 'Elegant' are medium green, ovate and opposite. They are about 1 - 2 cm in size.

The creamy white, tubular flowers appear in May. These are pleasantly scented.

The purple-red, round fruits of Lonicera nitida 'Elegant' are particularly decorative.

Lonicera nitida 'Elegant' is a shallow-rooting plant.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected position.
