The London plane 'Tremonia' (Platanus x hispanica) is a broad, large tree with decorative, brown-yellow, round fruits that keep for a very long time. The London plane 'Tremonia' also has leathery, triangular, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 metres and grows to a width of approx. 20 metres.

The deciduous leaves of the London plane 'Tremonia' are medium green, triangular, leathery, alternate, lobed. They are about 12 - 25 cm tall. London plane 'Tremonia' is bright amber-yellow in autumn. Long lasting.

Bark

Light brown bark that peels off in irregular plates makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

Fruit

The brown-yellow, round fruits of Platanus x hispanica 'Tremonia' are particularly decorative. These appear from October. Keep for a very long time.

Root

Platanus x hispanica 'Tremonia' is a heartroot and, depending on the soil, forms densely branched roots.
