Growth

Wall spray is a sprawling, overhanging and branching small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 0.8 - 1 m and is approx. 1.5 - 2 m wide. It usually grows 10 - 15 cm per year.

The deciduous leaves of the Wall spray are dark green, ovate, leathery, alternate, with entire margins. They are about 1 - 2 cm in size. Wall spray turns bright orange-red to scarlet in autumn.

The light pink flowers appear in June.

The red, round fruits of Cotoneaster horizontalis are particularly decorative. These appear from September. Cling for a very long time.
