Cotoneaster dammeri 'Skogholm'

Bearberry cotoneaster 'Skogholm' is an upright and overhanging small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 1.5 - 2 m wide. It usually grows 10 - 40 cm per year.

The evergreen leaves of the Bearberry cotoneaster 'Skogholm' are dark green, roundish and alternate.

The white, cup-shaped flowers appear from May to June.

The red, round berries of Cotoneaster dammeri 'Skogholm' are particularly decorative. These appear from August.

Cotoneaster dammeri 'Skogholm' is a shallow-rooted or heart-rooted plant and, depending on the soil, forms sparsely branched roots.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Bearberry cotoneaster 'Skogholm' has good frost hardiness.

Normal soil.

The plant has a medium water requirement.

- A slow-release fertiliser can be used in spring. This releases the nutrients slowly and continuously so that the plant is evenly supplied over a longer period of time.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
