The Sawara cypress 'Filifera Nana' (Chamaecyparis pisifera) is a small shrub that grows flat and spherical and usually reaches a height of around 1.2 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are yellow-green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
