With its green-red leaf colouring, the Cogon grass 'Red Baron' (Imperata cylindrica) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright, clump-forming and loose growth. It feels most at home in a sunny location with a well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows up to 40 cm wide.
