Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald´n Gold'

Winter creeper 'Emerald´n Gold' is a bushy, broad and dense dwarf shrub. It usually reaches a height of 40 - 60 cm and is approx. 0.6 - 1 m wide. It usually grows 10 - 25 cm per year.

High leaf ornamental value. The evergreen leaves of the Winter creeper 'Emerald´n Gold' are green, ovate, opposite and have a yellow edge. They are about 2 - 3 cm in size. With its pink-coloured foliage, it sets beautiful accents in winter.

The fruits of Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald´n Gold' are particularly decorative. These appear from October.

Euonymus fortunei 'Emerald´n Gold' is a shallow-rooting plant and, depending on the soil, forms finely branched roots.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Winter creeper 'Emerald´n Gold' has good frost hardiness.

The plant has a medium water requirement.

This plant does not tolerate heavy soil. If necessary, the soil structure can be improved when planting by working in sand and mature compost.

Pruning, ideally from February to March, is advisable for this plant.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
