The Flowering quince 'Nicoline' (Chaenomeles x superba) is a compact, spreading, broad small shrub that produces scarlet-red flowers. They appear from April to May. These produce yellow, pear-shaped fruits. The Flowering quince 'Nicoline' also has lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres. The Flowering quince 'Nicoline' makes no particular demands on the soil.
