The Winged spindle 'Compactus' (Euonymus alatus) is an upright, broad, dense small shrub with decorative, orange-red fruits. It produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. The Winged spindle 'Compactus' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres.
