The Chinese juniper 'Old Gold' (Juniperus chinensis) is a small shrub that grows broad and compact and usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and a width of around 3 metres. Its scale-like leaves are golden yellow in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position.
