The Hydrangea 'The Bride'® (Hydrangea macrophylla) is a dense, compact small shrub that produces white, ball-shaped flowers. They appear from May to October. The Hydrangea 'The Bride'® also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.4 m and grows to approx. 1 m wide.

Hydrangea 'The Bride'® is a small shrub that grows densely and compactly. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.4 m and is approx. 0.8 - 1 m wide. It usually grows 15 - 50 cm per year.

Care

- Remove old inflorescences and dry wood in spring.
- This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose.
- Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only produce pink flowers. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.

Planting time

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
