The Creeping dogwood (Cornus canadensis) is a carpet-like semi-shrub with decorative, red, round fruits. It produces white flowers in June. The Creeping dogwood also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide.
