The Witch hazel 'Jelena' (Hamamelis x intermedia) is an upright, broad shrub that produces orange-coloured flowers with a light fragrance. They appear from January to February. Brown fruits emerge from these. They exude a light fragrance. The Witch hazel 'Jelena' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
