The Broom (Cytisus decumbens) is a flat dwarf shrub that produces yellow, butterfly-shaped flowers. They appear from May to June. The Broom also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. Its bark is green. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide.
