The Common amelanchier 'Edelweiss' (Amelanchier ovalis) is a loose, branched shrub with decorative, purple-red, round fruits. It produces white flowers from April to May. The Common amelanchier 'Edelweiss' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight.

Growth

Common amelanchier 'Edelweiss' is a loose and branching shrub. It usually reaches a height of 3 - 5 m and is approx. 1.5 - 2 m wide. It usually grows 30 - 60 cm per year.
