The Common grape vine 'Regent' (Vitis vinifera) produces dark blue fruits. They are oval and have a sweet and sour, fruity flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich, sandy soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from mid-September. Its yellow-green, slightly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. With its climbing habit, the Common grape vine 'Regent' grows to around 10 metres high and 10 metres wide.

The deciduous leaves of Common grape vine 'Regent' are dark green, heart-shaped and toothed. Common grape vine 'Regent' is bright copper-yellow to red in autumn.

Bark

Brown, striped, torn bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

Vitis vinifera 'Regent' forms yellow-green flowers arranged in clusters from June. These exude a light fragrance.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
