The Viburnum 'Eskimo' (Viburnum) is a bushy, upright small shrub that produces creamy white flowers arranged in umbels with a strong fragrance. They appear from April to May. With the right care, the Viburnum 'Eskimo' will flower again in October. These produce black, round fruits from August. They exude a strong fragrance. The Viburnum 'Eskimo' also has leathery, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide.

Growth

Viburnum 'Eskimo' is a bushy and upright growing small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 1 - 1.5 m wide. It usually grows 10 - 25 cm per year.

The wintergreen leaves of the Viburnum 'Eskimo' are dark green, lanceolate, leathery and opposite. They are about 4 - 10 cm in size. Viburnum 'Eskimo' is bright yellow-orange to burgundy red in autumn. Long lasting.

Flower

The creamy white flowers of Viburnum 'Eskimo' appear in umbels from April to May. These are strongly scented. With the right care, re-flowering in October.
