The Dutch elm 'Jacqueline Hillier' (Ulmus x hollandica) is an upright, umbrella-shaped, picturesque large shrub that produces red-brown flowers. They appear from March to April. These produce red-brown fruits. The Dutch elm 'Jacqueline Hillier' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark grey. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 5 metres.
