The Dutch elm 'Wredei' (Ulmus x hollandica) is a columnar, tight, deciduous small tree with decorative, egg-shaped, twisted, greenish-yellow leaves. The yellow shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears red-brown flowers arranged in umbels from March to April. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, loose, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.

Dutch elm 'Wredei' is a columnar and tightly growing small tree. It usually reaches a height of 8 - 10 m and is approx. 3 - 5 m wide. Slow growing. It usually grows 15 - 20 cm per year.
