The Stephanandra (Stephanandra incisa) is a bushy, dense shrub that produces creamy white flowers arranged in panicles with a light fragrance. They appear from June to July. The Stephanandra also has lanceolate, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres.

Stephanandra is a bushy and densely growing shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1.5 - 2 m and is approx. 1.5 - 2 m wide. It usually grows 10 - 20 cm per year.

The deciduous leaves of the Stephanandra are light green, lanceolate, alternate, lobed. They are about 4 - 6 cm in size. Stephanandra turns bright brown-orange in autumn.
