The Willow-leaved pear 'Pendula' (Pyrus salicifolia) is a hanging, picturesque small tree with decorative, green, pear-shaped fruits. It produces white flowers arranged in umbels from April to May. The Willow-leaved pear 'Pendula' also has matt, lanceolate, silver-grey leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and is around 4 metres wide.

Willow-leaved pear 'Pendula' is a hanging, picturesque small tree. It usually reaches a height of 4 - 7 m and is approx. 3 - 4 m wide. Slow growing. It usually grows 10 - 20 cm per year.

Shoots

The shoots of Pyrus salicifolia 'Pendula' are spiny, tomentose, white.
