The Tosa spirea 'Snowmound' (Spiraea nipponica) is a bushy, upright, dense shrub that produces white flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from the end of May to June. The Tosa spirea 'Snowmound' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. Its bark is dark brown. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 3 metres.

Tosa spirea 'Snowmound' is a bushy, upright and dense growing shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1.3 - 2.2 m and is approx. 1.5 - 3 m wide.

The deciduous leaves of the Tosa spirea 'Snowmound' are medium green, ovate and alternate. They are about 3 - 5 cm in size. Tosa spirea 'Snowmound' turns bright orange-red in autumn.

Dark brown bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.
