The Spiraea (Spiraea betulifolia) is a bushy, compact small shrub that produces white flowers arranged in corymbs. They appear in June. The Spiraea also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 m.

The shoots of Spiraea betulifolia are reddish-brown.

Care
