The False acacia 'Bessoniana' (Robinia pseudoacacia) is a roundish tree with decorative, brown, pod-shaped fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. It produces white flowers arranged in clusters in May. The False acacia 'Bessoniana' also has pinnate, dark green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres.
