Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Blue Spire'

Russian sage 'Blue Spire' is an upright, fine-stemmed and loose-growing semi-shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 1 - 1.5 m wide. It usually grows 15 - 50 cm per year.

The deciduous leaves of the Russian sage 'Blue Spire' are grey-green, lanceolate, hairy, opposite and serrated. They are about 3 - 6 cm in size.

Silver-grey bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

The blue flowers of Russian sage 'Blue Spire' appear in spikes from July to October. These are pleasantly fragrant.
