The Callery pear 'Chanticleer' (Pyrus calleryana) is a conical, upright small tree that produces white flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from the end of April to the beginning of May. They produce green-brown, round fruits from August. They are small. The Callery pear 'Chanticleer' also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is brown and smooth. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 m and is approx. 5 m wide. The Callery pear 'Chanticleer' makes no special demands on the soil.
