The Perovskia (Perovskia abrotanoides) is an upright, loose semi-shrub that produces blue-violet flowers arranged in spikes. They appear from July to October. The Perovskia also has hairy, pinnate, grey-green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and grows to around 1 metre wide.

Perovskia is an upright and loosely growing semi-shrub. It usually reaches a height of 0.5 - 1 m and is approx. 0.5 - 1 m wide.
