The Bastard service tree 'Fastigiata' (Sorbus thuringiaca) is a large conical shrub with decorative, orange-red, round fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces white flowers arranged in panicles from May to June. The Bastard service tree 'Fastigiata' also has lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and grows to a width of around 4.5 metres.

Bastard service tree 'Fastigiata' is a large shrub that grows in a conical shape. It usually reaches a height of 5 - 7 m and is approx. 2.5 - 4.5 m wide. Slow growing. Usually grows 20 - 25 cm per year.
