The Foxglove tree (Paulownia tomentosa) is a broad, roundish small tree that produces lilac-coloured, funnel-shaped flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. From August onwards, these produce brown fruits that keep for a very long time. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Foxglove tree also has hairy, heart-shaped, medium green leaves. Its bark is light brown in colour. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 15 metres.
