The Sachalin willow 'Sekka' (Salix sachalinensis) is a bizarre, broad, large shrub that produces silvery or yellow flowers. They appear from March to April. The Sachalin willow 'Sekka' also has glossy, lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, lime-free, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
