The Flowering currant 'King Edward VII' (Ribes sanguineum) is an upright shrub with decorative, black fruits. It produces red flowers arranged in clusters in March. The Flowering currant 'King Edward VII' also has roundish, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
