The Purple osier 'Nana' (Salix purpurea) is a broad, spherical small shrub that produces inconspicuous flowers arranged in catkins. They appear from March to April. The Purple osier 'Nana' also has lanceolate, blue-green leaves. Its bark is grey. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2.5 metres.

Purple osier 'Nana' is a small shrub that grows broadly and spherically. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 1.5 - 2.5 m wide. Slow-growing.
