The Flowering currant (Ribes divaricatum) is a bushy, upright, dense garden plant with decorative, dark red fruits. It produces greenish-yellow flowers from April to May. The Flowering currant also has heart-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 3 metres and grows to a width of approx. 3 metres.
