The Violet willow (Salix daphnoides) is a garden plant that produces yellow flowers. They appear from March to April. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.

Growth

Salix daphnoides can reach a height of 5 - 8 m and a width of 3 - 4 m. It usually grows 0.4 - 1 m per year.
