The Dwarf Russian almond 'Fire Hill' (Prunus tenella) is an upright, loose, broad small shrub that produces pink flowers with a light fragrance. They appear from April to May. The Dwarf Russian almond 'Fire Hill' also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves. Its bark is silver-grey. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.

Dwarf Russian almond 'Fire Hill' is an upright, loose and spreading small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 0.7 - 2 m wide. Slow growing. Usually grows 15 - 30 cm per year.
