Dark red, round fruits emerge from these from June. They are small and exude a light fragrance.

Europe to Central Europe.

Growth

Ground cherry 'Globosa' is roundish in structure. Slow growing.

Bark

Red-brown bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

Flower

The white flowers appear in umbels from April to May. These are slightly scented.

Fruit

The dark red, round fruits of Prunus fruticosa 'Globosa' are particularly decorative. These appear from June and are small.

Root

Stoloniferous.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Use

Solitary, bee pasture, small/front garden

Care
