The Higan cherry 'Pendula' (Prunus subhirtella) is a hanging, umbrella-shaped small tree that produces pink, cupped flowers. They appear in April. The Higan cherry 'Pendula' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.

Care

- Watering less frequently, but thoroughly and thoroughly, encourages the plant roots to penetrate deeper into the soil. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
