The Green-glaucous bamboo (Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens) with its medium green leaf colouring and blue-green stems is a decorative design element in the garden, which can be used as a free-growing hedge or as a single plant with its bushy and upright growth. Sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained and loose soil are preferred. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 10 m and grows up to 6 m wide.
