The Tulip tree 'Fastigiatum' (Liriodendron tulipifera) is a large, columnar tree with decorative, green-brown, cone-shaped fruits. It produces yellow-green, cup-shaped flowers from May to June. The Tulip tree 'Fastigiatum' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 18 metres and is around 8 metres wide.
