With its blue-green leaf colouring, Broom beard grass 'Prairie Blues' (Schizachyrium scoparium) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and clump-forming growth. The amber-yellow flower spikes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows up to 50 cm wide.
