The Burnet Rose 'Stanwell Perpetual' (Rosa) is an abundantly flowering rose that plays a special role in the garden, and also on balconies or terraces. Its numerous white flowers appear from May to June. Their delicate fragrance particularly unfolds on sunny, warm days. With its spreading and branched growth, this small shrub reaches up to 2.5 m (8.2 ft) high and 2 m (6.5 ft) wide.

The Burnet Rose 'Stanwell Perpetual' is a spreading and branched small shrub that can reach a height of 1.8 - 2.5 meters and a width of 1.5 - 2 meters.

Shoots

The shoots of Rosa spinosissima 'Stanwell Perpetual' are prickly.

Flower

The white, cup-shaped flowers appear from May to June. They are lightly fragrant.

Fruit

The round fruits of Rosa spinosissima 'Stanwell Perpetual' are especially decorative. They appear starting in September.

Water

Care

- Remove any plant parts affected by powdery mildew immediately, as the disease can otherwise spread further. To prevent new infections, the rose can be treated with appropriate fungicides.

- If black spot appears, all affected leaves (black spots) should be removed. If necessary, treatment with suitable fungicides is also recommended.

- To encourage the formation of new flower buds, always cut faded flowers back to the next fully developed leaf.

- Roses should never be planted where roses have grown before. If no other planting location is available, the soil should be generously replaced.

Container plants can be planted year-round, except when the ground is frozen or during summer heat (above 30°C).
