The Scotch rose 'Stanwell Perpetual' (Rosa) is a rich-flowering rose that plays a special role in the garden but also on the balcony or terrace. The numerous flowers are white-pink and appear from May to June. Their delicate fragrance unfolds particularly on sunny, warm days. With its sprawling and branched growth, this small shrub grows up to 2.5 metres high and 2 metres wide.

Scotch rose 'Stanwell Perpetual' is a sprawling and branching small shrub that can reach a height of 1.8 - 2.5 m and a width of 1.5 - 2 m.

Shoots

The shoots of Rosa spinosissima 'Stanwell Perpetual' are spiny.

Flower

The white-pink, cupped flowers appear from May to June. They are slightly fragrant.

Fruit

The round fruits of Rosa spinosissima 'Stanwell Perpetual' are particularly decorative. These appear from September.

Root

Rosa spinosissima 'Stanwell Perpetual' is a taproot plant and, depending on the soil, forms extensively branched, runner-forming roots.

Water

Care

- Remove any plant parts affected by powdery mildew immediately, as the disease can otherwise spread further. To prevent new infections, the rose can be treated with appropriate fungicides.

- If black spot appears, all affected leaves (black spots) should be removed. If necessary, treatment with suitable fungicides is also recommended.

- To encourage the formation of new flower buds, always cut faded flowers back to the next fully developed leaf.

- Roses should never be planted where roses have grown before. If no other planting location is available, the soil should be generously replaced.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the ground is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
