The Common privet 'Lodense' (Ligustrum vulgare) is an upright, dense, compact small shrub with decorative, black, round fruits. These are small and exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces white flowers arranged in panicles from June to July. The Common privet 'Lodense' also has roundish, dark green leaves. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 70 cm.

Common privet 'Lodense' is an upright, dense and compact small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 0.7 - 1 m and is approx. 50 - 70 cm wide. Slow-growing.

The winter-green leaves of the Common privet 'Lodense' are dark green, roundish. Common privet 'Lodense' turns bright copper-brown in autumn.

Flower

The white flowers of Common privet 'Lodense' appear in panicles from June to July. These are pleasantly fragrant.
