Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum'

California privet 'Aureum' is an upright and vigorous growing shrub. It usually reaches a height of 2 - 3 m and is approx. 1.5 - 2 m wide. It usually grows 15 - 25 cm per year.

High leaf ornamental value. The wintergreen leaves of the California privet 'Aureum' are dark green, ovate, glossy, opposite, with entire margins and a golden-yellow edge.

The white flowers appear from June to July. They are strongly scented.

Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum' is a heartroot.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected position.

The California privet 'Aureum' has good frost hardiness.
