The Golden privet (Ligustrum obtusifolium regelianum) is a bushy, dense shrub with decorative, blue-grey fruits. It produces white flowers arranged in panicles from June to July. The Golden privet also has egg-shaped, grey-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres. The Golden privet makes no particular demands on the soil.

Golden privet is a bushy and dense growing shrub. It usually reaches a height of 2 - 3 m and is approx. 2.5 - 5 m wide. It usually grows 10 - 15 cm per year.

Flower

The white flowers of Golden privet appear in panicles from June to July.

Fruit

The blue-grey fruits of Ligustrum obtusifolium regelianum are particularly decorative. These appear from September.
