Make the most of summer: the perfect summer party in the garden

The summer garden invites you to celebrate

The garden is at its most beautiful, lush and bursting with a true floral splendor. Who wouldn’t want to celebrate such a perfect day? To make your garden party an unforgettable event, here are some tips for you.

Outsmarting the weather

Unfortunately, the weather in our regions isn’t always ideal, and you may need to reschedule your planned event. If you don’t have the option to protect your guests from rain, it’s important to remain flexible. Let your guests know in advance, so they don’t make other plans for the original or an alternative date.

Summer Treats

At a midsummer garden party, guests will appreciate light fare: modern finger foods, a salad buffet, colorful antipasti or tapas, and a few light desserts. You can prepare many of these items in advance, even the day before. Be sure to chill your drinks the night before as well. This way, on the day of the event, you’ll only need to set up the seating and decorations. You’ll feel much more relaxed and fresh for your guests.

Crackers with delicious homemade spreads and dips, or decorated party sausages, are quick to make and will delight both young and old. For example, cream cheese can be flavored with herbs, dried tomatoes, garlic, olives, salmon, or avocado for a tasty variation, and it’s easy to change the color as well.

Hearty petit fours made with a reduced-sugar sponge cake and topped with tuna, ham, cheese, minced meat, vegetables, or even salmon look great and taste fantastic.

Pair these with crunchy fresh vegetables served with tzatziki, mozzarella, guacamole, or other trendy dips, along with some fruity fresh salads, and your guests will be ready to enjoy. Don’t forget to order fun party rolls, pretzels, or themed breads from the bakery to surprise your guests.

A Successful Finish

Fruit skewers, fruit salad, fruit quark, and jelly pudding provide a refreshing treat even on the hottest of days and tempt even the most health-conscious guests to indulge in a little sweet bite.

To make the party especially memorable, give it a theme and tailor the decorations, music, and food and drinks to match. For example, with South American cocktails and rhythms or tapas, sangria, and flamenco, you can bring a lively atmosphere to your garden and transport your guests to vacation dreams.
